Multiplication & Division
We are learning about 'Life in the Early 1900's'. We made frying pans in play and made sets of bacon in multiples of 2. Only daddy got bacon in the morning🙁🙁... Poor children! Multiplication and art... So much fun!
We used yummy biscuits to learn to make sets of ten. We learned new mathematical language like multiplied by ten (X 10)
Next we made top hats. After all learning should be fun!!
Then we learned to divide by ten. We talked about sharing equally and dividing into equal sets.
In the end?? You guessed it..... we ate them! Yummy!
We worked in groups to record odd and even numbers.
