It's been a busy time in P1a.
We are learning lots of new things in Literacy, Numeracy and World Around Us.
We have also been to the school library and the computer suite.

We have enjoyed learning about weight. We can talk about real objects that are heavy and light. It was fun talking about our ideas and we got to paint aswell.

Computer Time
We are learning to use the mouse to select and drag.
It was lots of fun working with a partner to solve the number puzzles.
Library Time
It was fantastic to visit our school library. There were so many books to choose from and we can take a book home each week.
We are learning about Toys as part of World Around Us topic. We can bring in our favourite toys for Show and Tell. Our friends can ask lots of questions to find out what the toys are made of and how they work.
It's the most wonderful time of the year .....
It really is in Holy Child.
We will celebrate Christmas by singing carols and making lots of Christmas arts and crafts.
As part of our celebrations we will decorate a Christmas tree in our class room and learn about the Nativity story.
