Accelerated Reading
P4 began their Accelerated Reading journey in October when they picked their first book. Each child has been set a target (points) they must earn before they can receive a prize.
They can reach this target by reading a variety of books including their AR books and completing tests on these books in class. They can complete a test when they have read their book and feel ready. After completing their test they can change their book and continue to earn points to help meet their target.
Please encourage your child to read every night. They should read their class reading book, AR book and any other books they are interested in.
