We created carbon dioxide gas by mixing vinegar and baking soda together. We used this gas to create a magic trick and inflated some balloons. We also investigated the properties of slime.

Sugar in Drinks Egg Test
We sorted drinks from healthy to unhealthy by recording their sugar content. Our data is based on 100ml of each drink. We got some eggs to represent our teeth and poured the liquids on them. We left them for a week to see if there would be any damage to the shells. Our results showed that water did the least damage and coke did the most. Some eggshells cracked, stained and changed colour completely. Several smelled bad and the surface layer of many eggs peeled away. This proves how damaging sugar can be to our teeth.
We have been learning about how we grow and change over time.
