Primary 7B 2025-26
AWARE NI
We are delighted to welcome Alison from Aware NI into our classroom for four sessions on Mindfulness. Aware NI is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland. Aware delivers mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces. Their programmes include: Living Life to the Full, Mental Health First Aid and Mindfulness. The children have enjoyed every sessions and were fully engaged throughout. Below are a few photographs taken during on of Alison's sessions.
Mandarin with Ms. Hu
Ms. Jingying Hu is a guest teacher who has joined our staff in Holy Child for this academic year. She will be teaching Mandarin to the Primary 5, 6 and 7 children throughout the year. The children are thoroughly enjoying their lessons with this new language and look forward to welcoming Ms. Hu to the classroom every Tuesday afternoon. While Mandarin is a challenging language, the children have demonstrated a natural flair and eagerness to rise to this challenge. Below is a selection of photographs from a recent lesson.
