Following approval from the school's board of governors I am providing a brief summary of the school development plan for 2025/26. These targets were drawn from looking at data, observations and previous questionnaires of staff, pupils, parents and governors.

Boost Literacy & Numeracy
- Support for pupils who need help with reading, writing and maths.
- Group interventions and creative teaching strategies.
- Staff training to make learning fun and effective.
- Maths focus: Problem solving.
- Literacy focus: Spelling & punctuation.
Stronger Home–School Partnerships
- More parent policy workshops and curriculum meetings.
- Regular communication through SeeSaw and social media.
- Focus groups and PTA involvement to give stakeholders a voice.
- Develop the school wraparound care provision.
- Develop pupil voice through Student Council, Eco Council and Digital Leaders.
Supporting Staff Development
- Teachers working together through peer observation and book discussions.
- Sharing best practice to improve teaching and learning for all pupils.
- Staff to attend clusters to share good practice.
- Training in delivery of RSE programme.
- Training in use of iZak 9 equipment.
Expanding SEN Provision
- Opening a second SEN unit to provide more tailored support.
- Consistent routines and shared resources across both units.
- Develop transition for pupils and use of technology to help every child thrive.
How Will We Measure Success?
- More children meeting or exceeding targets in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Higher attendance and punctuality.
- Parents feeling informed and involved.
- Positive behaviour and wellbeing across the school.
- SEN pupils achieving their individual goals.
