Measures
The children have been learning about measuring spaces. We used items such as glue sticks, pencils, books and even our hands and feet to measure distances. They soon discovered that this would not give us an accurate measurement and that using a standard measurement was much more sensible. This led to us measuring spaces and distances in the school using the term metres. The children had great fun using their metre sticks to do so.
