C.S. Lewis Trip
As part of this year's Belfast Festival of Learning our class received the chance to explore C.S. Lewis Square and the novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. A big thank you goes to Mrs Maguire for organising this amazing trip.
The children met with a P5 class from Victoria Park Primary School. They were introduced to the novel by a lovely librarian who read the first chapter to the children. Outside with Mr Tumnus they were able to explore the square, see statues of the characters from the book and learn more about them.
The children received a copy of the novel and we will read this together in class in the next few weeks.
