Looking Back
Looking Back was a chance for the children to understand and experience life in the early 1900s. To do this we watched Magic Grandad, travelled back in time when we visited the Argory. We even tried out washing our clothes by hand. The children soon discovered this was extremely hard work and decided they did not want to repeat the experience.
Our trip to the Argory was very successful. It gave the children another chance to dress up like they were living in the past. We spent the day touring the house and learning about the little boy who lived there. We were able to meet his Mama, his Nanny and his tutors. The children were lucky enough to spend the afternoon playing with his old toys.
