The Final Intergenerational Visit of the School Year
Primary 5A children all visited Glenowen Court care home to visit their grand friends for the final time this child year. We were awarded certificates for our participation in the Memory Makers programme. We gave decorated names and beautiful paintings to our grand friends. We had a wonderful morning making fruit skewers using a wide range of fruits. We used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, melon, grapes and pineapple. We made our grand friends fruit skewers before we made our own. I think a few Primary 5 children may have eaten too many fruit skewers!
