Planning How to Spend Money
Children were engaged in an interactive sorting activity. They had to separate party items into items they wanted and items they needed. Some feedback from the children included: “It depends on how much it costs. “Is it essential?” “Is it value for money?”
The second activity was to spend Nina’s birthday money. They had a budget of £50 and had to make choices, find the total cost and calculate the remaining balance.
